Dr. Lota Ozola obtained her medical degree from Riga Stradiņš University in 2010. She received her pediatrician certification in 2016 and, already during her pediatric residency, actively worked as a trainee doctor at the Children's Clinical University Hospital in the Pediatric Pulmonology Department. In 2018, she earned her pediatric pulmonologist certification from Riga Stradiņš University.

Since 2020, at the Children's Hospital, she has also worked with patients requiring non-invasive ventilation and home ventilation. To better assist patients whose illnesses cause immune disorders, she obtained her immunologist certification from Riga Stradiņš University in 2020. She is actively involved in the diagnosis of primary immunodeficiencies and the monitoring of chronic patients.

Dr. Ozola works at the Children's Clinical University Hospital as a pediatrician, pediatric pulmonologist, and immunologist. In her free time, she enjoys mushroom foraging, playing board games, singing in the hospital choir, and spending active time with her children.
