Dr. Kristaps Dambergs earned his medical degree from Riga Stradiņš University in 2013, completing residency training in Otorhinolaryngology in the 2017. Since 2017, he has been practicing at the Children's Clinical University Hospital as an otorhinolaryngologist, with a subspecialty focus in pediatric otolaryngology and a particular interest in otologic surgery.
In 2024, Dr. Dambergs was awarded a Doctor of Medical Sciences (Ph.D.) degree for his research contributions in the field. In 2025, he was elected to the Board of the Latvian Otorhinolaryngology Association. He also serves as a lecturer at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Riga Stradiņš University, where he is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
His scientific activity centers on advancing clinical knowledge and surgical techniques in pediatric otolaryngology, with active participation in national and international research collaborations.
